Cookies

Updated 11 September 2026

This site sets no cookies. Not necessary ones, not functional ones, not analytics, not advertising. It also writes nothing to local storage, session storage or any other client-side store. You can verify that in your browser: open developer tools, look under Storage, and it is empty.

Which is why there is no consent banner

Consent for storing or reading information on your device is required by Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, implemented in Spain by article 22.2 of the LSSI (Ley 34/2002) and supervised by the AEPD under its Guía sobre el uso de las cookies. That duty is triggered by the storing or reading itself. Nothing here stores or reads anything, so the duty is not triggered and there is nothing to ask you to agree to.

A banner asking permission for cookies that do not exist would be theatre. We would rather not have the cookies.

What that means in practice

We cannot tell how many people read a page, which pages are popular, where readers come from, or whether you have visited before. That is the trade and we are content with it. What the server unavoidably receives in order to send you a page is described in the privacy notice.

If this ever changes

If a cookie or any comparable technology is ever introduced that is not strictly necessary to deliver a page you asked for, it will not be set until you have actively agreed, the agreement will be as easy to refuse as to give and as easy to withdraw as to give, and this page will say what it is and why, dated.
