Nothing here is investment advice
This is the most important sentence on the page. Crude publishes journalism and opinion about energy and commodity markets. It is general information addressed to no one in particular. It is not investment advice, not a personal recommendation, not an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, and not a substitute for advice from someone licensed to give it who knows your circumstances.
Crude takes positions in print and keeps a public record of whether they were right. That record exists so you can judge the writing, and for no other purpose. A published call is not a trade idea and is not sized, timed or risk-managed for anybody. Past accuracy, including anything shown on the track record page, tells you nothing reliable about future accuracy. Commodity and energy markets can move violently and you can lose money in them. If you act on anything here, you do so entirely on your own account and at your own risk, and you should take professional advice first.
Crude is not authorised or regulated as an investment firm and does not provide investment services.
Accuracy, and its limits
Every issue is checked before it publishes and errors are corrected in public rather than quietly. Even so, this is fast-moving material assembled from third-party data, and we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or current. Figures are stated as at the date of the issue and are not updated afterwards. An archived issue is a record of what we thought on the day it was written, not a live view.
Your use of the site
You may read, link to, quote briefly with attribution, and share the pages here. You may not republish whole issues, scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for others, or present our work as your own.
Intellectual property
The text, the wordmark and the design of this site are the property of Mykhaylo Matkovskyy unless stated otherwise. Charts and images credited to third parties remain the property of those parties and are reproduced under their own terms; nothing here grants you a licence to them.

This site is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, anything published here. Law
Spanish law applies, excluding its conflict of law rules. Where you deal with us as a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions that would otherwise apply in your country of residence, and nothing here affects your rights under the Spanish consumer statute (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, TRLGDCU).
